Over the last several years, the Korn Ferry Tour (previously named the Tour) has further positioned itself as the premier developmental tour in professional golf. The Korn Ferry Tour serves as the breeding ground for the stars of tomorrow. This tour provides fans, host cities and sponsors the opportunity to be on the front lines and witness the next generation of great golfers. The Korn Ferry Tour boasts a hybrid of new-comers, experienced professionals and veterans playing for their future.

Huntsville has experienced dynamic growth in recent history and is quickly becoming one of the largest cities in Alabama. The city is home to one of the largest military bases in the country, RedStone Arsenal as well as five of the top independent contractors in the country. Additionally, within the past year alone, $4.1 billion has been committed to new economic development. Even more, internationally recognized brands, such as Facebook, Google and Mazda-Toyota, have planted flags in Huntsville. Facebook and Google have opened data centers creating jobs and driving economic impact, and Mazda-Toyota is building a factory that will create thousands of jobs. The synergy between the corporate and civic sectors has allowed the city to make great strides in all-around growth.

Sitting atop the highest point in the city of Huntsville, The Ledges is one of the top-ranked golf courses in Alabama. The Ledges serves as a perfect extension of the Tour’s internationally-renowned and premium golf brand. The mission of the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville is simple, yet impactful. Their mission is to improve the quality of life within the greater Huntsville community through philanthropy. Huntsville companies, private donors and business leaders utilize the Community Foundation to donate to 501(c)(3) organizations across the country. However, the vast majority of these gifts support causes in the local community, creating a tangible difference directly benefitting the people of Huntsville. The Community Foundation is the hub of philanthropy in the community, connecting donors and local nonprofit partners for the benefit of all residents within the greater Huntsville area.
